What is performance all about?

The performance is based on categories and targets set within these, known as indicators.  The current indicators run from 2008-2011.

This report is live and the data is updated regularly, meaning information can change from one day to the next. The report can be downloaded from the link below.

The community safety unit is working on the following:

  • Reducing violent crime, including domestic violence

  • Reducing serious acquisitive crime (burglary, vehicle crime etc)

  • Reducing drugs and alcohol misuse

  • Reducing re-offending

  • Reducing the number of young offenders

  • Tackling anti-social behaviour

  • Reducing the number of primary fires

  • Reducing the number of people killed or seriously injured on Derbyshire roads

  • Community Cohesion (the glue that holds the community together).
