The community safety unit is working on the following:
Reducing violent crime, including domestic violence
Reducing serious acquisitive crime (burglary, vehicle crime etc)
Reducing drugs and alcohol misuse
Reducing re-offending
Reducing the number of young offenders
Tackling anti-social behaviour
Reducing the number of primary fires
Reducing the number of people killed or seriously injured on Derbyshire roads
Community Cohesion (the glue that holds the community together).
