We recognise the impact that crime and the fear of crime can have upon the quality of all our lives. Although Amber Valley is a relatively low crime area we are committed to improving the safety of the borough.
All members of the community safety partnership share a commitment to reducing crime and disorder in the borough, and we work closely together to ensure that our actions have a positive impact on making Amber Valley a safer place to live, work and visit.
Our mission statement:
‘We will work together to create a safer Amber Valley, by reducing levels of crime and anti-social behaviour and reducing the fear of crime, whilst encouraging local involvement to build public trust and confidence for all those who live, work in or visit our community’.
