North East Derbyshire CSP - How we work

The North East Derbyshire Community Safety Partnership was formed as a result of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, bringing different agencies together to tackle crime and disorder locally.

The Partnership also works with a variety of other agencies and community forums to undertake a wide variety of activities across the area.

In 2004 we undertook an audit of crime and disorder in the district, and carried out consultation on the findings. As a result of this the following priorities were identified for 2005-8: 

  • Burglary

  • Vehicle Crime

  • Violent Crime

  • Anti-social behaviour

  • Drug and Alcohol abuse

  • Hate Crime

  • Fear of crime
