What is Community Safety?

Community Safety is about helping you, your family and your neighbours feel safe and be happy in places you live, work and relax. Lots of things contribute to community safety and reducing crime and disorder is just one. In surveys you have told us that reducing crime is really important: in fact it is often your number one priority.  In South Derbyshire the Partnership works in different ways to reduce crime and improve community safety.
