Annual action plans are produced to meet these targets. To co-ordinate and manage the work there is a Partnership Support Team which consists of:
Head of Leisure & Community Development
Liaison Officer (Police Sergeant)
Community Safety Manager
Safer Neighbourhoods Officer (Substance Misuse)
Safer Neighbourhoods Officer (Community Engagement)
Anti-social Behaviour Officer
Team Assistant
PR Support
Strategy Group
Councillor Heather Wheeler chairs the Strategy Group and its members are senior officers from each of the organisations that make up the Partnership. The Group meets quarterly to review levels of crime and disorder in South Derbyshire and review ongoing projects. It is also responsible for the financial management of the partnership.
How is the Partnership funded?
This Partnership is funded by the Police, County Council, District Council, PCT and Home Office who have allocated significant resources with over £500,000 being available for crime reduction work in South Derbyshire during 2005/06.
