Road safety

During the Community Safety Partnerships consultation on the crime and disorder audits during 2004, road safety was often raised as a local concern.

Road safety in Derbyshire is dealt with by Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership, which is made up of a range of agencies including Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council, Derbyshire Constabulary, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service, Southern Derbyshire Primary Care Trusts, North Derbyshire Health Promotion Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service.

The main aims of Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership are to:-
