Pharmacy needle and syringe programmes are available across Derbyshire.

They are:

  • Free
  • Confidential and convenient
  • Available to anyone who injects drugs
  • Able to offer you advice and support
  • Aiming to reduce infection                

Look for a chemist / pharmacy displaying the symbol at the top of this page in the window:

You will not be asked for your name or address, but you will be asked for your initials, date of birth and first letters of your postcode.

You can request various combinations of needles and syringes. Always bring your used works back. You will then be given clean equipment in exchange.
