Alcohol conference - March 2009

Challenge for Change is about working together to challenge the culture of alcohol use across Derbyshire.

The conference was for all agencies from managers and policy makers to staff and volunteers working on the frontline, service users and carers. 

There were opportunities to be involved in: 

  • Launching the Derbyshire DAAT Drug and Alcohol Strategy 2009-13

  • Launching the Derbyshire Alcohol Service Tier 2 managed by Derbyshire Alcohol Advice Service (DAAS)

  • Sharing experiences with colleagues across a range of agencies and with service users and carers

  • Learning from practice and latest thinking e.g. alcohol and young people, licensing, brief interventions, specialist treatment, mental health and alcohol…. and more!
