The 2008-2018 Drugs Strategy aims to reduce the harm that drugs cause to society, communities, individuals and their families.
The strategy has four strands:
Protecting communities through drug dupply, drug related crime and anti-social behaviour
Preventing harm to children, young people and families affected by drug misuse
Delivering new opportunities to drug treatment and social integration
Public information campaigns, communications and community engagement
