Halloween Safety Advice
Halloween safety advice for Derbyshire residents
Posted on 25 October 2023
We are supporting Derbyshire Police, who have produced a poster for residents to display if they don’t want Halloween callers. The "Sorry, No Trick or Treat" poster also includes advice about what to do with unexpected callers at any time of the year.
If you are planning to go trick or treating, have fun and follow our simple advice on staying safe at Halloween:
- be considerate and respect the "Sorry, No Trick or Treat" poster
- don’t go trick or treating alone - take an adult with you
- remember road safety and take care when crossing roads while out trick or treating
- keep Halloween tricks safe and don’t cause damage to people's homes or property
If you are concerned about anti-social behaviour around Halloween and Bonfire night, you can find more information on our ASB Hub.
