Neurodiversity Workshops
Derbyshire County Council are working with Groundswell Project to deliver Neurodiversity workshops for parents of neurodiverse young people. The workshops will help families keep young people safe from risks such as online extremism, grooming, radicalisation and wider harms.
These sessions will:
- explore how to recognise when a young person might be at risk of radicalisation
- support you to manage challenging conversations around online safety and wellbeing
- help distinguish between red flags and everyday neurodiverse behaviours
- support you to connect with local safeguarding provision
