If the animals are in a public place, the highway, or causing danger to the public at the time of your call, telephone: 999. Otherwise contact Derbyshire police:

Incidents relating to dangerous dogs, should be reported to the police on 101, or 999 if it is an emergency situation.

Amber Valley

Report a stray dog to High Peak Borough Council's Dog Warden Service, telephone: 0345 129 4870 from 8:30am to 3pm, Monday - Friday only.

Out of office hours, you can take the dog to Manchester and Cheshire Dogs’ Home. (Call first so a member of their staff can plan to meet you telephone: 0300 102 1212.)

North East Derbyshire

South Derbyshire
