Section for children and younger adults
This information and guidance section is for children and younger adults.
Each year over 750,000 children will witness or experience domestic abuse across the UK. The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) estimated that 7.5% of adults aged 18 to 74 years experienced sexual abuse before the age of 16. The British Crime Survey also found that young people are more likely to suffer partner abuse than any other age group.
